The Paris Olympics 2024 cauldron is officially lit and it will remain so for the upcoming 20 days. If you’re having a boring summer, we got you! Over the next 3 weeks, 10741 of the world’s best athletes take center stage in the heart of France, PARIS. This is the biggest stage of the sporting history, the victory that every athlete dreams of from the day they start playing, the loss that sparks a comeback in the next games but here…… NOTHING IS NEXT TIME. If you are here, this is your chance, there is nothing beyond it, there is no next time, this could be the last time. HERE IS EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE 33rd OLYMPIAD GAMES.
PREPERATIONS
Um, preparations? We got you! 26th of July 2024, the
biggest games event in human history commenced. These Olympic games have been
declared the most high-risk games in the Olympics’ 132-year history, even more
than when the Olympiad Games were held in the midst of World War 2 back in
1941. As per reports, up to 30000 soldiers have been dispatched to ensure the
safety of the area. Last night, 100 different boats sailed down the River
Seine, just by the Eifel Tower, starting with Greece and ending with the full
cruise with some 450 human capacity of France. In between, there were performances
that sparked passion for the Olympics in one’s heart. Following that, the
French footballing royalty Zinedine Zidane himself emerged out from the tunnel
with the Olympic Torch and handed it over to Rafael Nadal, who in turn headed
over to the sign and lit it up. Then came the moment we all were waiting for; PRESIDENT
MACRON CAME OUT AND DECLARED THE 33RD OLYMPIC GAMES OPEN! Its
incredible to even imagine that every Olympian athlete we will see in the next
20 days has already crossed the Seine, just you didn’t see him.
IN THE MIX: PAKISTAN
Pakistan is in the mix too. We have 7 athletes that sailed
down the River Seine all of which have medal hopes associated with them. The
biggest of whom is Arshad Nadeem who will be in action on the 3rd of
August and the final on the 6th of August shall he progress. The three
shooters are GM Bashir, Kishmala Talat, Gulfam Joseph, two of which will be in
action on the opening day, the 27th of July. There are two swimmers’
part of this squad too, both of which will be in action on the 28th
of July and play the semi finals the same day shall they progress. The
remaining athlete is a Women’s 100m participant who will be in action on the 2nd
of August. These are the guys who Pakistan has their Olympics’ medal hopes
rested on.
