Wiffen from Ireland dominated the race while also setting an Olympic record, which
ended up securing him the gold medal. B. Finke from the USA and G. Paltrinieri
from Italy delivered impressive performances to claim their respective
positions. Meanwhile, the Women's 100m Breaststroke saw K. Mckeown from Australia
emerge victorious, demonstrating exceptional power and technique. R. Smith and
K. Berkoff, both from the US, completed the podium.
