Hi again everyone with Day 10 at the Olympic games and there’s a lot of events to unfold on the day the Olympic games turned 10 days old, just 6 away from its conclusion. So, without wasting any bit of time, let’s rock straight into the business.
RACE AT THE TOP HEATS UP
The competition for the most gold medals at the Olympic games
is heating up and don’t you just know it. At first, it may have seemed China
was the favorite, which they still are, but USA are cranking things up. Last
night, USA struck gold in the Women’s surfing final and Women’s Discus throw
while earlier in the day, they also earned Bronze in 3x3 basketball, Silver in
the men’s pole vault, Silver in the Mixed relay Triathlon and both Silver and
Bronze in the Women’s artistic gymnastics final. On the flip side, their fierce
rivals, China, are also on a roll. They earned silver in Women’s badminton,
Gold in Men’s Gymnastics, Silver in Women’s gymnastics, Bronze in Men’s Shooting
and so much more.
WHO HAS THE BEST TRACK AND
FIELD ATHLETES?
Well, we can’t answer that question, but what we can tell
you is the results of the Athletic events which were pretty mixed, to say the
least. Great Britain struck gold in the Women’s 800m, leading home the African
nations of Ethiopia and Kenya. One country we have not seen much of at the
Olympic games is Sweden……until NOW! Sweden beat off the US and Greece t Gold in
the Men’s Pole vault. USA gold, China silver and Croatia Bronze. This was the
final order at the Women’s Discus throw. Kenya got both Gold and Silver in the
Women’s 5000m Final.
OTHER SPORTS TO NOT BE
FORGOTTEN
If the Olympics are actually decided by a medal or two, it
could come down to these unnoticed sports to end up on the losing or winning side,
come the 11th of August. Here are some events that may not have been
broadcasted on TV and you might have missed. Italy prevailed over the US in Men’s
Skeet shooting final. Netherlands got the better of France 18-17 in the Final
of Men’s 3x3 basketball. Denmark beat Thailand to gold in the Men’s singles
badminton event. Italians got Gold and Bronze in the Women’s Gymnastics Final,
sandwiching a Chinese in between. 5 August was also the last we saw of
Gymnastics at the Olympic games 2024, with fans having to wait ONLY 1460 more
days for live Olympic Gymnastics action. Also, On the 6th of August,
the last of Pakistan’s medal hope and perhaps the biggest, Arshad Nadeem would
be in action. Shout out a good luck in the comments!
That is all we have from DAY 10 then, the race is heating up.
See you tomorrow with Day 11, it is China from the USA at the top by one medal!
